Motus Announces Second Installment of its WorkLife Event Series, Designed to Help Millennials Achieve a Better WorkLife
August 2nd Event to Help Educate Millennials about Money So They Can Better Pursue Happy, Healthy Lives
Boston, Mass. – July 19, 2016 – Motus is a technology company that is passionate about making WorkLife better for mobile workers and their managers. The company is hosting the second event in their WorkLife series designed to bring together millennials in Boston so that they can discuss topics that matter most to them. Millennials & Money – Financial Literacy for a Better WorkLife will take place on Tuesday, August 2, from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at District Hall, 75 Northern Avenue, Boston, MA.
“Financial literacy is essential for millennials to be able to WorkHappy. We’re hosting an event to connect millennials in Boston with experts to help them be confident in their monetary decisions, reduce finance-related stresses, and facilitate a better WorkLife,” explains Kristen Dooley, Chief People Officer at Motus. “We will be hosting additional WorkLife events throughout the year, all of which are dedicated to helping millennials live better, both inside and outside of work.”
Millennials in the Boston tech community are invited to hear a panel of experts discuss topics ranging from managing student loan debt (and evaluating the ROI of grad school), to demystifying mortgages (and deciding the right time to buy). The session will cover how companies consider compensation, the advantages of aggressive 401K participation, strategies for writing off your WorkLife (and getting bigger tax returns), and the best way to approach investing. There will be a cocktail reception and networking session to follow the panel.
Millennials & Money – Financial Literacy for a Better WorkLife is free to attend. District Hall is a featured sponsor of the event.
